IL EST VILAINE - SURF RIDER
Il Est Vilaine, Electro-rock french band commissioned Antoine Trapp and I to do a music video for their great hit single Surf Rider.
We wanted to do a DIY hand drawn music video a mix between 80’s anime and the Rumble Fish/ Warriors vibe.
The music video takes place in a dirty city, a red sky atmosphere where night never really comes.
The story is mixing stereotyped elements and genre tropes :
a Motorcycle boy, a Lone girl, a night club and a fight against vilains in a dark alley.
