“In this Neon City drawn on this album cover, there is a bit of Akira, a bit of Blade Runner of course.
An 80’s vibe where the vision of a certain future is linked to Japan. A vision, now that feels retro and nostalgic.
That is what I feel as a foreigner, a gaijin. I wanted to articulate this drawing around this perspective vanishing line, as if the listener was like in a first person in a video game or something.
A feeling of perdition, a wandering to the unknown that we can feel sometimes in Tokyo.»
